GreenForest does not use a single electronic medical record (EMR) system. Outpatient clinics operate on different platforms ranging from paper-based records to fully implemented commercial EMR systems. The existing clinical information systems are almost all distinct from those in place at the major hospitals.

All hospitals are currently using the same inpatient EMR (EPIC) at this time. The home care agency uses a commercially available software system designed specifically for home care. The long term-care facility implemented a commercially available EMR late last year. The retail health sites use commercially available systems, one for patient records and one for scheduling.
Radix Ramus is an independent organization with which GreenForest has contracted to provide health information exchange services.
