Radix Ramus Health Information Exchange

Radix Ramus Health Information Exchange (RRHIE) is a non-profit organization that supports the Western Washington region by electronically connecting providers, hospitals, and other care facilities to by maintaining a regional electronic health record. The mission of RRHIE is to improve the quality and efficiency of health care services in the region. To date, RRHIE has completed implementation at 5 medical centers, 10 specialty clinics, 25 physician practices, 10 freestanding laboratory facilities and 6 long-term care facilities.

Description of Services: RRHIE establishes connectivity between hospitals, clinics and other healthcare services allowing providers at different locations on different electronic systems to securely share patient care information. Records and reports in RRHIE can be viewed securely from any internet access point. Data can be filtered according to your needs, then downloaded, and printed. RRHIE can assist an organization in meeting Meaningful Use goals with summaries of patient care transitions, healthcare team secure mail, syndromic surveillance, and immunization registry interface.

Contracted Services: RRHIE will provide off-site support for a total of 2 years, including 1 year pre- implementation and 1 year post implementation. RRHIE will also provide training for up to 150 persons at each facility within the 2 year period. Post implementation RRHIE will provide training for up to 25 additional persons per year with a current yearly contract.

Contracted Rates: Each facility requires an independent contract of the parent organization. Hospital implementation fees with go live support for the first 2 years have a flat rate of $25,000/year. After the 2 year implementation yearly service contract is $5000/year and includes quarterly facility updates and change requests. Fees for outpatient clinics and other facilities are less expensive and are based on the number of providers supported.

  • BlueLake Home Care Agency implemented access only integration, with ability to extract information from RRHIE but without access to input information to RRHIE last month.
