Endowment created for PCTs!

Dear Stakeholders,

It is with great enthusiasm and a deep sense of cross-functional alignment that we share a high-impact development: a significant philanthropic capital infusion has been secured from a high-net-worth individual who has opted to remain anonymous. This strategic contribution is directed toward bolstering the operational and innovation capacities of the GreenForest Digital Services Team.

The investment is intended to catalyze the scaled dissemination of existing (and, where strategically appropriate, iteratively refined) evidence-based Patient-Centered Technologies (PCTs). These assets are designed to optimize health-related outcomes across diverse community segments through measurable, sustainable interventions.

As part of this donor-aligned initiative, and in recognition of their status as a CIPCT program appreciator, a key engagement deliverable includes activating high-potential learners from NMETH 526 in the ideation pipeline via structured PCT pitch sessions.

Key thematic verticals prioritized by the donor include:

• A macro-level focus on public health impact and population-level intervention efficacy.
• Strong alignment with human-centered design methodologies (which differ substantively from user-centered paradigms) and a commitment to patient-centered value propositions.
• A clear trajectory from ideation to execution, wherein pitched PCTs demonstrate evidence-based viability and are ultimately transitioned to full lifecycle support within the GreenForest digital services ecosystem.

In terms of deployment readiness, the emphasis remains on ensuring solutions are authentically patient-centric. As such, plans for pre-deployment validation, user testing, and iterative optimization cycles are anticipated. Encouragingly, the donor maintains significant influence within the technology vendor ecosystem and may be able to facilitate strategic negotiations with proprietary platforms to support open collaboration and co-development opportunities—assuming the selected PCT is not already open-source.
